My Gold Award project focused on enhancing financial literacy among teenagers. I founded the Junior Finance Academy to address the significant gap in financial education within my community. Through this initiative, I developed a comprehensive curriculum and organized financial literacy boot camps to educate young people on crucial topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding credit. Additionally, I launched a Change.org petition to advocate for integrating financial literacy into school curriculums, further amplifying the project’s impact and reaching a broader audience to promote essential educational reforms in my area.
