How Girl Scouts Help Their Community
Girl Scouts change lives on a regular basis. After three of her childhood friends passed away from fentanyl-laced drug overdoses, Girl Scout Eunseo felt powerless. Then, after learning about Narcan, a temporary opiod reversal drug with the potential to save lives, Eunseo spent the last year developing a curriculum for her high school around drug safety education—earning the Girl Scout Gold Award in the process.
Championing Inclusivity in Our Community
Girl Scout Zeke and his mother Kara fell in love with Camp Robbinswold, not only as a place where Zeke learned to swim and got to experience phosphorus swishing, but especially when LGBTQ+ camp provided a safe, welcoming community.
