My Gold Award project focused on educating and providing resources for churches to make their youth group and children ministry more inclusive to neurodivergent youth and children. I executed my project by offering Zoom trainings, working with two churches in the local Seattle area to collect sensory bins and fidget toys, offering my Zoom training in person at the Western regional youth event of the United Church of Christ in Southern California, and handing out fidget toys at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America’s national youth gathering in Louisiana.
