Girl Scouts of Western Washington would like to invite our Black/African American families, friends, and potential members to the third annual Umoja Family Campout! UMOJA means unity in Swahili and is a principle to strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race.
Come spend a day at Camp River Ranch in Carnation, WA, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains! This weekend of family fun at camp is specifically designed as a welcoming space in nature for families and members who identify as Black or African American. This camp is open to Girl Scout members, their families, and potential future Girl Scouts and volunteers.
