Did you know that everything that moves follows the same rules? Learn about Sir Isaac Newton and his First Law of Motion with a kite build-a-long! You'll have plenty of time for testing, and you will come away with firsthand knowledge of how wind and gravity affect everything around us.

This program is made possible by Boeing.

Girl Scout participants will get a complimentary wristband to the Museum for themselves and ONE accompanying adult. Any additional family members will need to purchase their own wristband at admissions.

There are 6 adult tickets available for adults to be involved in this event. There is a limited number of tickets due to limited space within the venue. Ticketed adults will be able to enter the event space but will be expected to assist program staff with passing out program materials, managing behavior, and to assist with other simple tasks requested by staff. Please do not purchase an adult ticket if you are not willing to or are uncomfortable with assisting staff. This is a volunteer role, and it brings the expectation that you will help manage expectations for ALL Girl Scout participants, and not just Girl Scout(s) you have brought to the event.

If you think that you need to be present with your Girl Scout at this event, please sign up. If there are no more adult tickets available, please reach out to Program Manager, Chloe Wightman at cwightman@girlscoutsww.org. If you are not a registered volunteer, you will not be able to enter the event space unless specifically invited by Museum staff. You may instead wait in the lobby or explore the museum with your complimentary wristband.

Girl Scouts of Western Washington events are open to girls and gender-expansive youth.

We aspire to offer programs where all Girl Scouts are able to show up as their most comfortable and authentic selves. Please use the Special Circumstances box during registration to share anything we should know so we can do our best to meet their needs when possible.

Cost: $15 per Girl Scout

Financial Assistance is available for members of Girl Scouts of Western Washington until 04/21/2025. To qualify for the Financial Assistance Program, you must submit the annual 2024-2025 Financial Assistance Application. For more information please visit https://www.girlscoutsww.org/financialassistance.

Drop-Off:This is not a drop-off event. Youth need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a parent or guardian on the event premises and be easily contactable. If attending with your troop, there must be a correct ratio of youth to adults. Adults who are not volunteering do not need to register. Ratio information can be found on pages 5-6 of the Safety Activity Checkpoints.

Registration Deadline: 05/12/2025
Space is limited. Girl Scouts may register as an individual or with their troop or group.

GSWW follows Washington State COVID-19 guidelines, which may be subject to change. GSWW program partners are required to comply as well.

Cancellations must be received by the published registration deadline to be eligible for a refund. Any cancellations received after the published registration deadline are not refundable. To cancel, please contact Customer Care at CustomerCare@GirlScoutsWW.org.
