Our community partners have completed our partnership approval process by signing off on the mission and values of our organization, successfully completing criminal background checks, and designing programs that align with the Girl Scout leadership experience.

Girl Scout events hosted by approved program partners are open to all Girl Scout members. Girl Scouts of Western Washington and our partners use the term girl inclusively to speak to everyone who identifies with the Girl Scout experience, which includes cisgender girls, gender-expansive youth, transgender youth, non-binary youth, gender nonconforming youth, genderqueer youth, and any girl-identifying human.

Schedule your own Girl Scout badge program with a naturalist at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park! You will complete all badge requirements during the program (up to 1.5 hours in length). After the program, enjoy unlimited time exploring the rest of the park at your own pace—same day only. Badges must be purchased by troop leaders and are not provided by Northwest Trek.

Bellevue Botanical Garden Society toggle arrow

Bellevue Botanical Garden Society offers several badge workshops including Daisy Flower Garden Journey, Brownie Hiker, Brownie Bugs, Junior Gardening, Junior Flowers, Cadette Trees, and all levels of the Outdoor Art badges. We also provide a fun patch from the garden. We can do Junior and Cadette badges virtually; otherwise, workshops are in person at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. We offer a Girl Scout discount on some of our public youth workshops that fulfill badge requirements. We also have a Girl Scout Day for Daisies and Brownies in the spring. In general, we don’t schedule private workshops in November or December because of the weather and our holiday light show.

Offered virtually or in person, we strive to create an environment of fast-paced, fun-filled theatre activities such as role-play, storytelling, and short-form improv that will encourage students to stretch their imaginations and discover their own creativity. Discover horses up close at Bridle Trails State Park while working toward your Girl Scout Horsemanship Badge! Code Ninjas Sammamish toggle arrow

Code Ninjas Sammamish is a STEM learning hub where children learn to think like creators, not only users of technology. Our programs are instructor-led, software-guided, and built around a structured, CSTA-aligned, ISTE-approved learning pathway. Participants plan, build, test, debug, collaborate, and turn their ideas into working projects—developing confidence, creativity, persistence, and practical problem-solving skills along the way.

Who: Primarily Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes—grades K–8 and approximately ages 5-14. Workshops are adapted to the participants’ Girl Scout level, prior experience, and program goals.

What: Hands-on workshops in Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, App Development, Robotics, Cybersecurity Basics, artificial intelligence, 3D design and printing, and engineering challenges. Specific badge-aligned workshops will be mapped to the applicable requirements and submitted through the GSWW program-review process.

Troops with Girl Scouts ages 8+ can participate in their Junior Horseback Riding Badge program—working with qualified instructors and barn staff to learn about daily horse care, nutrition, behavior, grooming, tack and equipment, and foundational riding skills.

Inclusive Technology of Washington offers all-inclusive Journey and badge workshops featuring computers, animation, special effects, video production, game development and coding, citizen science, engineering, and more! All Journeys include the Take Action project and your choice of venue. For face-to-face workshops, we bring all the computers, equipment, and staff to your location. For live online workshops, participants remotely take over one of our computers, allowing them to utilize our software with step-by-step directions from our instructors.

Sewing helps you develop fine motor skills, improves your focus and concentration, and teaches the importance of patience and self-control. Mathnasium of Woodinville is an award-winning math learning center passionate about helping children understand, master, and love math. Open World by DigiPen is a STEAM summer camp and enrichment program. We offer one- and two-week day-long summer workshops in art, computer science, game design, and music at locations around the Seattle area. During the school year, we offer after-school enrichment classes and weekend workshops at partner schools and our own Redmond campus. Our workshops are developed to give students the freedom to explore their interests outside of the home, and every workshop has been rigorously designed by a team of curriculum developers and faculty advisors backed by the resources of DigiPen Institute of Technology.

Our mission is to provide fun, hands-on, high-quality K-12 experiences in the STEAM fields of the future. Every child who attends one of our workshops should come away feeling engaged by our instructors, excited to share what they learned and created, empowered with the skills to continue creating, and cared for by every member of our team.

Run 2 Be Fit/PNW Ladies Running Group toggle arrow

Run 2 Be Fit and the PNW Ladies Running Group offers fun, local, community-building 5k opportunities for anyone wanting to get active and outdoors! Run or walk, race participants will get cool swag while avoiding the pressure of big crowds and competitive runners. We welcome all runners (and walkers) and support all. Some races are even themed—think Star Wars, pets, zombies, wizards, and more! Virtual 5ks are also an option—participate in a race at a location of your choice and still earn the swag. Troops may also contact us for pre-race coaching or training to get you ready for the big day.

Strategic Living toggle arrow

As children get older, they explore more on their own or with peers. They look to each other for standards in boundaries and relationships. They are out more, with friends or by themselves. They may be riding a bus solo, babysitting, dating, or driving. Maybe they are engaged in community volunteer activities, art performances, or have part-time jobs. They are growing into their independent and resilient selves. At the same time, they may be concerned about peer pressure and a cultural environment that romanticizes unhealthy relationship behavior and tends to denigrate their abilities and self. They could use some skills to augment the experience they are beginning to acquire.

In a self-defense class with Strategic Living, your Girl Scout will learn to recognize “red flags” that indicate someone may intend harm, plan safe exits from iffy situations, practice physical moves (just in case), and learn to find supportive self-care—all in age-appropriate language, concepts, and risk levels.

Taste Buds Kitchen Bellevue is a hands-on culinary entertainment studio where kids, families, and adults come together to cook, create, and connect! Claster Educational Services offers workshops for Seniors and Ambassadors that are aligned with the Financing My Future and College Knowledge badge requirements. Workshops focus on how the Girl Scout experience can inform the college search and strengthen college applications. Topics include exploring colleges and preparing for campus visits, high school course selection and extracurricular activities, planning for standardized tests, developing a college list, demystifying financial aid, helping students develop strong applications and essays, and gap year planning.

Outdoor Eats toggle arrow

Outdoor Eats is an outdoor cooking education company founded by Chef Corso, a classically trained chef, cookbook author, and creator and host of Outdoor Eats TV, airing on PBS, Outside TV, and NBC Sports.

Our mission is to inspire people of all ages to cook delicious, easy meals outdoors without relying on dehydrated or prepackaged foods. With more than 350 trail-tested recipes, our approach focuses on real ingredients, simple equipment, and meals prepared with ten ingredients or fewer in 30 minutes or less.

Who: Outdoor Eats serves outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels, including Girl Scouts, troops, councils, families, and youth organizations.

Programs are especially well suited for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (Grades 4–12), with activities adaptable for younger Girl Scouts.

What:

Virtual Outdoor Cooking Workshop: A one-hour, self-paced workshop covering outdoor cooking equipment, meal planning, packing, food safety, knife skills, Leave No Trace, and two cook-along recipes.

Virtual Workshop + Live Q&A: Includes the full virtual workshop plus an interactive Q&A session with Chef Corso.

In-Person Cooking Workshops: Interactive demonstrations and hands-on cooking experiences for troops, councils, camps, and special events.

Custom Girl Scout Programs: Tailored cooking and outdoor education experiences designed to support outdoor skills, confidence, teamwork, and badge-related learning.

ZGiRLS

ZGiRLS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping middle school girls build confidence during a time when friendships shift, social pressure grows, and self-doubt can start to take hold. Through programs led by trained facilitators and Olympic and professional female athletes, ZGiRLS equips girls with practical mindset tools to manage self-talk and build resilience.

Who: Ages 11-14 (Cadettes)

What: Four week virtual confidence program featuring live, interactive sessions with athlete storytelling, guided reflection, and engaging activities.
