Healthy Relationships Presentation - Combating Sexual Assault

For my Gold Award project, I created and delivered a program for eighth graders focused on building healthy relationships, with a goal of reducing sexual assault. I researched and interviewed to learn more about the root cause of sexual assault and collaborated with the PTSA, Bothell Police, Timbercrest Middle School administration, and students to share valuable tools and advice with these students.
Advice to Future Gold Award Girl Scouts: Create a timeline; it will keep you focused and on track but be sure to keep it realistic.
