Harvest Moon is about growing and educating the community that anyone can grow their own produce at home, at church, or in a community garden. For my Gold Award project, I worked with my youth group to rebuild three planter boxes at the Girl Scout Program Center in Bremerton. I planted produce, conducted classes, and provided not only produce but seedlings to fellow Girl Scouts and church youth members. I created videos on how to grow food and showed progress and results of food donations.
