Day Camps

Day camp provides a great introduction to the outdoors for new and returning campers. We offer day camps at Camp River Ranch hosted by Girl Scouts of Western Washington staff in addition to day and twilight camps throughout the region hosted by incredible teams of Girl Scout volunteers.

Staff-Led Day Camps

Come experience a week (or more!) of camp magic at Camp River Ranch. Day camps run Monday through Friday and feature opportunities to participate in classic camp activities, work toward earning Girl Scout badges, and get a taste of outdoor exploration! With optional bus transportation to help get campers to and from day camp each day, we look forward to a summer of laughter, skill-building, and fun at Camp River Ranch!

True Cost Versus Subsidized Cost

The subsidized cost of attending camp is different from applying for financial assistance. The subsidized cost is available to all campers, regardless of their ability to pay, and helps make camp more accessible for everyone.

The true cost of attending one week of day camp is $800. However, in our commitment to keeping camp accessible, Girl Scouts of Western Washington offers Girl Scouts the option to register for overnight camp at a reduced price by subsidizing 55% of the full cost to run our staff-led overnight camp programs. As a result, Girl Scout members can pay a significantly discounted rate to register.

If you are willing and able to cover the full cost of overnight camp, you have the option to pay the true cost of $800 when you register, helping us continue to provide high-quality programs for all campers.

Staff-Led Day Camp Program Hours toggle arrow

For campers taking the bus to camp, drop-off and pick-up times vary by bus stop. Drop-off times range from 7:50 AM to 8:30 AM, and pick-up times range from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For further details regarding busing, please refer to the Bus Transportation to Staff-Led Day Camp section.

For campers not taking the bus, drop-off begins at 8:45 AM, with camp starting at 9:00 AM. Pick-up begins at 4:30 PM and runs until 5:00 PM.

Volunteer-Led Day and Twilight Camps

Camp offerings vary based on site availability, location, and volunteer capacity. Girl Scout membership is required to attend all Girl Scout camps, including our volunteer-led camps.
