Our Council

At Girl Scouts of Western Washington, our community is strong and our vision is clear:

Empowering every girl—girls of every race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, ability, gender identity, religion, or geographic location—to make the world a better place.

To turn this vision into a reality for the girls in our area, our focus is on partnering effectively for every girl. We have four key initiatives to support this focus:

Flexible Experiences for Girls and Volunteers
Both girls and volunteers will have meaningful and flexible options that reflect their diverse interests and needs.

Focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our leadership, staff, and volunteers will have the skills and resources needed to engage with the racially, ethnically, and generationally diverse communities we serve. Learn more about our diversity and equity work.

Transformative Philanthropy
Our organization will build strength and resilience through long-term relationships with partners who share our vision.

Collaborative Technology
Our organization will be accessible, responsive and easy to navigate for girls, families, volunteers and staff.

We serve more than 25,000 girls and 12,500 adult members across 17 counties in western Washington, with five offices, four stores, and seven camps!

At the end of the day, we’re here to empower girls. Will you join us?
