This nationally certified USA Archery Level 1 Instructor workshop qualifies you to supervise archery ranges at encamporees, Volunteer-Led Camps, and on GSWW properties. You will learn the basics of archery instruction such as equipment inspection & repair, range safety & setup, and steps of the shot cycle.
USA Archery Level 1 Instructor is a blended course with online modules that MUST be completed before your in-person skill session. The online modules are fully self-paced, allowing you to complete them on your own schedule. After registration closes you will receive more information about the online course, including an access code. If you do not receive this email by March 19th, please contact learningdept@girlscoutsww.org.
If you are RENEWING your Level 1 Archery training, please indicate so in your Special Circumstances box so we send you the correct access code for online portion of the training.
Additional training opportunity: Complete your Outdoor Overnight training the same weekend! Arrive for the Outdoor Overnight on May 16th, stay overnight, and complete your Archery Instructor Certification on Sunday the 17th. Girl Scouts of Western Washington Learning Conferences aspire to offer workshops where all Girl Scout Volunteers are able to show up as their most comfortable and authentic selves. Please use the Special Circumstances box during registration to share anything we should know so we can do our best to meet your needs when possible. (Ex. Power needed for medical devices, relevant non-food allergies, mobility considerations, etc.).

Financial Assistance is available for members of Girl Scouts of Western Washington from 10/01/2025 until 04/16/2026.
