Girl Scouts of Western Washington develops strategic partnerships with corporations across the country to champion youth education, leadership development, interest in STEM, financial literacy, and more. Our partners provide critical funding and in-kind goods and services for our four program pillars: STEM, Outdoors, Entrepreneurship, and Life Skills. They also support Girl Scout camp operations, bolster financial assistance, and help carry out our mission to ensure all girls* feel welcomed, accepted, and respected at Girl Scouts.
Our partners also play an important role in Girl Scout programming. It’s good for businesses to incorporate volunteer opportunities with their corporate giving. These programs improve employee satisfaction, promote employee engagement, and enhance retention. Girl Scouting relies heavily on adult volunteers and mentors, giving company employees endless ways to engage with Girl Scouts as subject matter experts, workshop or event facilitators, or troop leaders. Corporate volunteers also participate in work parties at our camps, provide helping hands at our fundraising events, serve as keynote speakers and panelists, and lead our organization as board members.
For more information on corporate partnerships, please contact Wade Brewer, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, wbrewer@girlscoutsww.org.
In June 2024, Girl Scouts of Western Washington joined Adobe in a two-year partnership to expand Adobe's global skilling initiative to bring AI literacy, content creation, and digital marketing skills to youth worldwide—including Girl Scouts right here in Western Washington. Since the partnership’s launch, 475 Girl Scouts in our region have gained access to hands-on workshops where they learned how to design fliers, make videos, create graphics, and more using Adobe's AI technology. Many Girl Scouts used what they learned to create marketing videos that enhanced their entrepreneurial experience and boosted their cookie sales during the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Program. All workshop participants received a co-branded patch for their involvement in the program.
Champion young leaders and support the Girl Scout mission by sponsoring events throughout the year.
