When girls succeed, so does society. By supporting Girl Scouts of Western Washington, you create opportunities for girls to discover their skills and interests, connect with supportive peers and adults, and make an impact on their world.
Ways to Support Us
Phoebe Wall, National Gold Award Girl Scout and future astronaut, recognized the desperate need for diverse LGBTQ+ representation during her time as a Girl Scout. That’s why she founded Glitterary, a digital literary magazine by and for LGBTQ+ youth. Readership now reaches over 40 countries and Phoebe has taken steps to ensure the project will be sustainable for years to come. Read Phoebe’s story on our blog and on the GSUSA website.
Affordable Greenhouses for All
Recognizing the community need for nutrition access and education, Troop 44043 designed a compact, portable greenhouse for under $25. Troop 44043 also distributed fliers to raise awareness and share their design, and hosted a greenhouse building workshop that sent low-income families home with their own greenhouses and starter plants. Read about their process on our blog and help share their flier!
