To find an active troop with current openings or begin the process of starting your own troop in your area, click Join Now below. Enter your zip code, the grade of your child and other key information to filter available troops in your area. If no troops are available and you still want to register and get started while you wait for a troop opportunity, you can use the city specific “Register as a Member Today” option closest to where you live. To join an existing troop, click the plus sign (+) to add youth or adults and continue your registration from there.

New members can join year-round—but for a limited time, you can join for the rest of 2026 AND keep the fun going through September 2027, all at once! Complete your extended-year membership registration and receive five extra months of fun for $115. That's a $170 value to become a Girl Scout member through September 30, 2027!
