 Girls Launch Into STEM!

According to GSUSA, the Girl Scout Research Institute shows that 74 percent of teen girls are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects and the general field of study. Girl Scouts of Western Washington is dedicated to providing girls with the opportunity to discover and expand their knowledge in STEM fields!

Local Girl Scouts put Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)  in action in a recent interactive workshop. By launching goodies like circus peanuts and tootsie rolls with their candy catapults, these girls learned valuable STEM skills in a fun new way!
