This is a fun, interactive course, where students will explore the conceptual parts to songs, then apply those concepts to create a masterpiece of their own! This camp is for students new to songwriting and music production. Campers will learn and analyze song form by taking popular songs and re-writing them in fun and often silly ways using BandLab, a free music collaboration software. No musical instruments are required as the software has ways to easily generate notes of band instruments. Students will leave with a tool set and knowledge to be able to continue their song writing journey after this course. Daily agenda available on request.

This is a week-long program Monday - Friday with 10am start and noon finish each day. Runs August 24th to August 28th. When registering please select an age and then look for the "Available to GIRL SCOUTS of WESTERN WASHINGTON ONLY" option. Each participant will be mailed a Fun Patch after the camp.

Cost: $190 per girl
