Outdoor Overnight @ Camp Towhee

Learn to prepare for and plan an overnight with girls. Basic outdoor skills will include operating lanterns and propane stoves, group outdoor cooking, building campfires and practice sleeping outside. This required workshop should be taken six to eight weeks prior to the overnight to allow time to involve the girls in planning. This workshop is an overnight workshop sleeping outdoors. It allows troops to stay overnight for two nights in any outdoor situation. Registrants will receive a confirmation email approximately a week and a half prior to the event with a packing list and information about the workshop. Camp Towhee is a unique, undeveloped, Girl Scout property, and participants will need to bring tents. They can be checked out from Girl Scout Service Centers if needed.

Cost: $30 per adult

Financial Assistance: Financial Assistance is available for this event until 04/25/2020
