By participating in a color guard, 3rd grade Brownies work on steps toward earning their Celebrating Community badge. Older Girl Scouts can work on their program level's Girl Scout Way badge. Each girl that participates will be mailed a Color Guard patch after the game.

The Color Guard consists of 3 girls holding the American flag, Washington State flag, and the Girl Scout flag during the national anthem. There are 4-5 girls who are out at center field waving the large OL Reign flags and the rest of the girls form an honor guard for the players to walk through onto the field. They are also holding flags. No experience is necessary.

***COVID-19/Coronavirus Update***:
Girl Scouts of Western Washington is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will be cancelling all council-led programs across the 17 counties effective immediately through April 27th.  We will assess the situation again at that time. As always, decisions regarding participation in other Girl Scout activities, including the Cookie Program and partner programs, is up to the discretion of parents and guardians. We are also working on contingency plans for programming and other events to be prepared for changing circumstances. We are actively following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Washington State Department of Health and local public health agencies so we can respond quickly to any shifts in their recommendations.
If a Girl Scout event is cancelled, refunds will be granted. For additional details, please view our FAQ. (Please note that GSWW cannot issue refunds for partner events).
If you cannot attend an event, please contact Customer Care at 1-800-541-9852 or (M-F, 9a-5p).

Non health related cancellations must be received by the published registration deadline to get a refund or to transfer to a different course. Cancellations received after the published registration deadline are not refundable.
