Great news, Girl Scouts! After 18 months of being apart, we’re excited to finally say it's time to get back to everything that makes Girl Scouts, Girl Scouts. On June 30, Governor Inslee announced that Washington is officially re-opened, and we mean it when we say we can't wait to see you again.
Starting July 1, nearly all in-person Girl Scout programming will
resume without COVID restrictions. Hooray for that! Some safety
guidelines/restrictions will remain in place for camp programs,
overnight activities and travel. For those activities, troops/groups
should refer to our current
guidelines and travel chart until our updated safety guidelines
Safety will continue to be our highest priority. The council will continue with strict cleaning policies, especially given that youth under the age of 12 are not yet vaccinated. We will also continue to offer virtual programming and staff-hosted programs will remain virtual/hybrid through December.
We’re excited about the Governor's announcement and will be
evaluating our guidelines accordingly, releasing updates mid-July. In
the meantime please reference our current guidelines/chart.
