In addition to Summer Camp, there are two Girl Scout camping opportunities for troops and service units:
Troop Camping
Troop camping is planned by girls and their leaders. At least one adult must have completed the Outdoor Leadership series and be a certified First-Aider. Each Daisy Girl Scout must also have a parent present. Troops may reserve campsites at our six camp properties up to six months in advance, and may use other public and private camping sites when GSWW sites are not available.
Camp fee schedules (Excel) are available now. For more information about reserving a campsite, contact Cindy McKinley at (800) 541-9852 x143.
Encampments and Camporees
Encampments and camporees are camping weekends planned by service units for their troops. Program activities frequently allow older girls the opportunity to plan and lead activities under the supervision of the Encampment Director. For most of the year, camp properties can be reserved by service units up to nine months in advance. For more information, contact your service unit manager.
To reserve a camp site, use the Camp Site Request Form.
