Patch: Save Our Sound Program

AGE LEVEL: All ages.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: You can earn this patch by participating in a Save Our Sound service project that benefits a waterway within Western Washington.

WHEN: Service projects generally occur in fall, particularly October and November.

ACTIVITIES: Troops are encouraged to participate in a service project that helps clean up neighborhood ponds, rivers, lakes, beaches and streams. There are two ways for troops to participate. Your troop can develop a cleanup project for a waterway in your neighborhood or you can register for one of the events listed in the online calendar.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
