A collaborator is an organization that provides programming to Girl Scouts. They understand and implement the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, including the three processes. A program or event provided by a collaborator must demonstrate that it meets at least one of the program outcomes for girls. To become a collaborator, an organization must complete the partnership application and go through an approval process. Learn more about becoming a collaborator.
A sponsor usually agrees to underwrite in cash and/or in-kind value as a gift or grant; or to underwrite an event; series of events; combination of event(s) and/or Girl Scout programs; and/or marketing initiatives in combination with events and/or programs. Girl Scouts of Western Washington usually enters a marketing alliance with an organization or company that has the ability to reach a large constituency that aligns with the mission and values of Girl Scouts. Priority will be given to those organizations/companies that have a constituency that includes significant numbers of girls, parents and potential volunteers. The nature of the agreement may include:
