On a very cold Saturday in December...

Group Photo 2.jpg

On a very cold Saturday in December, several Girl Scout alumnae kept warm helping out at Camp River Ranch. Half of them split wood for future Girl Scout camp fires, while the other half helped renovate the old Health House, which provided hundreds of campers a comfort when sick and away from home.

In 2005, Troop House 5 became the new summer resident camp Health House. The old Health House now houses directors during the summer, however the old Health House still kept its name. It is important to share the history of our camps, and help preserve the future of them!

This was a lot of fun!

When are we going again? :) There's a giant wood pile with my name on it...
