Have a blast with former astronaut, Dr. George “Pinky” Nelson, while earning your Space Explorer Try-It. Dr. Nelson will lead the space odyssey at Western Washington University with an out-of this-world Planetarium show. You’ll observe the night sky and learn about the constellations, planets, Sunday, phases of the moon, and much more! Then return to “Space Station LRC” – a state-of-the art science education facility – to explore the phenomena of the earth’s rotation, create your very own star show and design a space costume. See how much fun space exploration can be!
