Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Day Camp has been providing a unique summer experience for girls in North Kitsap County for over 15 years. Girls from 1st-6th grade spend 5 busy days making new friends, learning outdoor skills, playing games, learning songs and making crafts under the guidance of trained volunteer adults and young adults (7th-12th grade).
Battle Point Park provides the perfect location for the week. Camp runs from 9:30 – 3:30 each day except Thursday. Thursday’s late start allows the campers to eat dinner together and parents are invited for an evening of entertainment provided by the girls. Older campers (4th – 6th) then spend the night at the park sleeping in tents or under the stars, weather permitting.
Girl Scout Day Camp is the perfect ending to summer vacation and the campers always leave looking forward to next year’s camp.
