Whidbey Island Day Camp

A community day camp

at Whidbey Island



Event Status: Closed
Who: Girl Scouts in 1st – 6th grade, Program Aides in grades 7 and up, and adult volunteers

A fun time where girls can make new friends and explore the out-of-doors through crafts, nature, songs and games.  Activities include:  hiking, swimming, outdoor cooking and learning outdoor skills.

Cost:

  • Girl Scout Campers - $70.00
  • Program Aides - $25.00 (trained, with 25 hours experience)
  • Program Aides in Training - $50.00

Our camp cannot happen without our wonderful adult volunteers!  As a service to our adult volunteers, we provide a camp program for volunteers’ sons and preschool-aged children.

Children of Volunteers:

  • Girl Scout Campers - $30.00
  • Boys (1st-5th Grade): $15.00 or $5.00 per day
  • Preschoolers (age 3-K, must be out-of-diapers): $15.00  or $5.00 per day

If you are not a currently registered Girl Scout, include an additional $12.00 for membership through Sept 30, 2010.

Space is limited.  Whidbey Island registered Girl Scouts and volunteers' campers are given priority.   No onsite registrations. Registration must be postmarked by June 1st or a $10.00 late fee will apply.  A confirmation letter will be mailed after your registration is received and processed.  No refunds will be allowed after June 1, 2010.

If you are interested in volunteering, download and complete the Volunteer Interest form, and return it with the registration form.
