Auburn Wilderness Day Camp

A community day camp

at Auburn, WA

Event Status: Closed
Who: Girl Scouts in 1st – 6th grade, Program Aides in grades 7 and up, and adult volunteers

Join us for a week of Girl Scout games, songs, and outdoor skills! We’ll spend all day outside learning and having fun in a natural setting.  We'll have a wide range of activities, including archery, letterboxing, outdoor cooking, woodworking, First Aid, and camping skills.

Our theme this year is “Take a Walk on the Wild Side” so we'll be learning about wildlife and wilderness and having lots of wild fun!  Girls in 4th-6th grade will have the opportunity to spend the night on Thursday.

Girls from SU 021 will have priority for registration until May 1. After that, registration is open to all.

Cost:

Girl Scout Campers - $95.00
Program Aides - $35.00

Our camp cannot happen without our wonderful adult volunteers!  As a service to our adult volunteers, we provide a camp program for volunteers’ sons and preschool-aged children.

Children of Volunteers:

Girl Scout Campers -  $25.00 (first child - other campers are 50% off)
Boys - $25.00 (5-11 yo)
Preschoolers - free (2-5 yo - must be toilet trained)

If you are not a currently registered Girl Scout, include an additional $12.00 for membership through Sept 30, 2010.
