Help us celebrate 75 years of memories at Camp St. Albans! Here are some of the ways you can help:

Share a memory
In preparation for Camp St. Albans' 75th anniversary, Girl Scouts of Western Washington is gathering photos and stories from anyone who has a camp memory to share.

Share a story about Camp St. Albans!

If you have a photo to share, please email it to Shannon Evers at severs@girlscoutsww.org.

Help plan the celebration
We're looking for volunteers to help us plan the celebration! There are several different committees to join:

Join the Communications/PR Committee and help us:

  • Decide the theme of the event
  • Assist with logo design
  • Provide feedback and direction for this camp anniversary webpage
  • Help with publicity for the event
  • Communicate with members about all our activities
  • Collect names of past campers, staff, donors and those that want to know about the celebration of the camp

Be a part of our fundraising efforts by:

  • Selecting projects to fund
  • Handling all solicitations
  • Select, design and plan all products for sale including the map, t-shirts, mugs, postcards, etc.

Be a part of the Memory Book/Oral History Committee:

  • Help collect pictures
  • Create a timeline
  • Collect personal stories
  • Help create St. Albans movies (set to music, show in the lodge at the event, make a new movie)

Join the Program Committee:

  • Selecting service projects and organizing and recruiting volunteers.
  • Plan a flag contest
  • Help decide what to put in a new time capsule
  • Create a living museum

Have fun on the Celebration Event Committee! Plan:

  • Ceremonies (special presentations, flag ceremony, etc.)
  • Campfire
  • Displays in lodge (vintage t-shirts, how has the forest/lake/camp changed over the years, etc.)
  • Tours (and/or living history museum)
  • Time capsule unveiling
