Supporting Girls

GSWW offers several courses to help leaders and other volunteers support their girls and honor the girl-adult partnership.

Silver Award Workshop

The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn in grades 7-9. This workshop will prepare girls at the middle school/junior high level for the challenge of earning your Silver Award. Learn about the steps involved, timelines, forms, and how to come up with ideas for your project. This is primarily a course for girls, but interested adults are welcome to attend.

Gold Award Workshop

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. This hands on workshop will help you understand what is required to earn it and will lead you through all phases of the application, interview, and project process. Adult advisor and/or leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop with their girls. Troops must meet Safety-Wise girl/adult ratio. Girls registering individually may attend without an adult.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
