Other Roles

In addition to Leadership Essentials for troop leaders and Outdoor Leadership for outdoor specialists, learning courses are offered for several other roles.

Community Development Manager

For girl and adult recruitment. Attend the Service Unit Team Conference in DuPont.

Encampment Director

For individuals who will be Encampment directors. Choose from one of two locations: DuPont and Seattle.

Event Director

For anyone who will be directing a large event for girls and/or adults. Strongly recommended for new Community Day Camp directors and Encampment directors. Teens welcome.

Facilitator

This course will be offered next in January 9 of 2010. Contact Pat Ford for an application or additional information.

Getting Started Facilitator

Choose from one of four workshop locations: Marysville, Bremerton, Seattle and DuPont.

Lead Delegate Workshops

Choose from one of four workshop locations: Seattle, DuPont, Bremerton and Marysville.

Red Cross Instructor

Consider using your talents to provide certification training to adults and teens throughout Girl Scouts of Western Washington. We offer you the training for free in exchange for your time teaching twice a year. Recent courses include Babysitting Instructor Training.

Service Unit Manager

Choose from one of four locations: Bremerton, DuPont, Seattle, Bellevue and Mt. Vernon. 

Service Unit Program Manager

For SU-sponsored events and girl program. Attend the Service Unit Team Conference in DuPont.

Volunteer Support Manager

Volunteer learning, recognition and mentoring. Attend the Service Unit Team Conference in DuPont.
