Online Orientation

The Online Orientation from GSUSA is now available! Learn more about volunteering with Girl Scouts and the basics of the new Girl Scout Leadership Experience before taking Getting Started.

To participate:

To receive credit for completing this orientation, when prompted:
1. Enter your full mailing address even though it is not a required field

Go to http://training.girlscouts.org/ NOTE: Click on "On-Line Volunteer Orientation." The "Leadership Essentials" option is a short introductory presentation to the face-to-face Leadership Essentials course, but it NOT a substitute for that course.
Enter the following password:

Your information will be stored in a database where a registrar will periodically check to give credit for the online orientation.

Note: The orientation may take several minutes to download, and you may need to turn off your pop-up blocker. If you are having difficulty using the on-line orientation, contact your Regional Office for a paper copy.
