For Service Unit Managers

Welcome SUMs!

Thank you for your commitment to girls and your decision to take on this very important volunteer position. Girl Scouts of Western Washington depends on you to make the Girl Scout program a vital part of your community.

Announcements:

  • Banking Fees
Several troops reported being charged a fee to use telephone banking services for Girl Scout checking accounts. Racquel Wardlow, GSWW Banking Coordinator:

"GSWW accounts are First Choice Business Accounts. Use of the automated toll-free number is unlimited. Speaking with a Customer Service Representative more than 6 times per month will incur a $1 charge per additional call."

Please tell your leaders! And remind them it's always important to check their statements every month. If there is ever a problem or concern (for example if you don't receive a statement or if you discover a fee charged to your account) contact Racquel Wardlow immediately. Or you can alert your area manager and ask her to contact Raquel for you.
