For Teens

Teen Girl Scouts form a community of girls grades 6-12 who want to make a difference in their lives and in the world and have fun while they do it.

Teen Girl Scouting is all about YOU shaping your own experiences by setting goals and achieving them. From traveling to exotic locations, to roughin' it in your backyard, to just hangin' with the girls: whatever you want to do—it's here!

What's new for teens:

  • GSUSA is searching for National Young Woman of Distinction! All Girl Scouts who earned their Gold Award after October 2006 are eligible. To apply, submit your application to Karen Thornton by May 15.
  • Get the inside scoop on technology - and the people behind it - at the FREE Microsoft DigiGirlz Day Camp in Redmond. For girls currently in grades 9-12; camp runs August 11-15, 2008. Apply by May 9
  • On May 10, bridging Juniors have the chance to strut their stuff across the most beautiful bridge in California, the Golden Gate Bridge, with Girl Scouts of Northern California.
  • Come join the adventure at the Hunt for the Golden Eaglet September 19-20! Teams will mountain bike 22 miles, paddle 2 miles and hike 4 miles while completing challenges along the way.
  • In July, 15 teen Girl Scouts and four advisors embarked on an adventure in Costa Rica. From reforestation projects in the rainforest to river rafting – these girls did it all.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
