Planting Parties with Skagit Fisheries: Nursery Potting Day!

Sat Mar 04, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PST
SFEG Nursery - 21109 Kelleher Rd, Burlington 98233
Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador
Join the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group in helping restore native plants in the Skagit watershed. These plants provide shade and cover for salmon and leaf litter for aquatic insects that feed the salmon. These riparian zones also improve water quality by controlling erosion and filtering pollutants.

On March 4th, help us pot new plants for future planting seasons. From I-5 take the Cook Road Exit #232 and go east; turn left (north) onto District Line Road to Kelleher Road and turn right. The SFEG nursery will be on your left at the old steel barn (21109 Kelleher Rd). Parking is limited, so please carpool.

Cost: Free
Drop Off: This is not a drop-off event, so girls need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If attending with your troop, there must be a correct ratio of girls to adults. Girls over age 13 may be dropped off but must have a parent or legal guardian sign in for them.
Registration Deadline: 3/3/17

To sign up, call Skagit Fisheries at 360-336-0172 or email
