Our Council

At Girl Scouts of Western Washington, our community is strong and our vision is clear:

That every girl in western Washington—regardless of her race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, or geographic location—is empowered to fulfill her potential and make the world a better place.

To turn this vision into a reality for the girls in our area, we’re focused on four key initiatives:

Fun, Flexible Options for Girls and Volunteers
Both girls and volunteers will have meaningful and flexible options that reflect their diverse interests and needs.

Focus on Diversity
Our leadership, staff, and volunteers will have the skills and resources needed to engage with the racially, ethnically, and generationally diverse communities we serve. Learn more about our diversity and equity work.

Strategic Partnerships and Fund Development
Our organization will build strength and resilience through long-term relationships with partners who share our vision.

Seamless Technology
It will be easy and simple to join, participate, and volunteer 24/7 via reliable, integrated technology.

We serve more than 25,000 girls and 12,500 adult members across 17 counties in western Washington, with five offices, four stores, and seven camps!

At the end of the day, we’re here to empower girls. Will you join us?
