We all know that Girl Scout Cookies are delicious right from the box, but we all reach the point where we are looking to take our cookie experience to the next level. Check out the Girl Scout Cookie recipes here and you'll start seeing cookies in a whole new way.

Girls love to prepare yummy snacks to share with friends, family and Girl Scout sisters, and these recipes will teach some new techniques to broaden their cooking skills.

Make a Crazy Creation!

It seems we can find monsters everywhere these days. Some of the most popular are simple, flat, stuffed creatures made of felt. Because the fabric is soft and comforting, comes in bright, fun colors, is easy to find and inexpensive, felt is the perfect material for crafting these home-spun buddies. Whether you are working on a sewing or toy badge or just teaching your troop some sewing techniques, try having them make themselves a little felt "monster".

Take Action with the Global Action Theme Badge

In 2000, the United Nations adopted eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to be achieved by 2015. The MDGs set ambitions targets for eliminating disease, hunger and poverty around the world. These seem like very grown-up matters, but girls today are concerned about the future of our world and the plight of children around the world.

Make and Trade Artist Trading Cards

Sometimes large pieces of blank white paper can be intimidating to a little artist. Did you know that some artists and crafters enjoy creating and trading miniature works of art called Artist Trading Cards? These small canvases are inspired by the old collectable baseball cards. At just 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches in size, they fit in a standard trading card protector sheet. Artists can paint, draw, color, collage or use any kind of mixed media to create their cards. Give this unique form of artwork a try with your troop.

An International Experience – Close to Home!

“Hands Across the Border” at Peace Arch Park is back on June 13, 2010 after a two year absence due to construction and security upgrades at the Blaine border crossing. “Hands Across the Border” is a great exposure to the international Girl Scout and Girl Guide movement. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have the opportunity to meet and spend the day Scouts and Guides from Canada. There is a parade of flags and banners that all can participate in, and a program recognizing our movement.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
